TrueAero is a global aviation investment platform offering investors, lessors, and operators a suite of solutions across capital deployment, asset management, technical services, and material consignment, including aircraft and engine leasing, aircraft consignment, and part-out services.

Headquartered in Sebastian, Florida, with sales, marketing, and finance hubs across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, TrueAero manages more than $680 million in leased assets across 51 aircraft and 28 engines, has completed 175 teardowns, and serves 868 customers in 75 countries with a team of 70 employees.

The challenge

Standardizing a growing, complex deal pipeline.

Like any lessor, TrueAero recognized the importance of standardizing how it remarketed its assets, while also tracking the commercial conversations and action items tied to its airline customers. So in an effort to continuously improve and maximize portfolio value, the team sought a one-stop solution for tracking communication, evaluating commercial options in the market, managing deals, and accessing customer information, all to make better decisions around the purchase, lease, sale, and sale-leaseback of its assets.

To get there, TrueAero mapped out a deal flow process with specific stages that would trigger action items and follow-up tasks for the relevant teams. But mapping the process was only half the challenge: TrueAero also needed a more centralized system to manage transactions and related KPIs, one that could expand the breadth and depth of customer relationships and give the business better visibility into performance and information sharing as it continued to grow.

The solution

Centralized deal management with LeaseWorks CRM.

TrueAero found that system in LeaseWorks CRM. Through its Deal Management functions, the leasing and trading teams centralize all deal-related information, including status, bids, customer meeting history, documentation, market intelligence, and commercial terms, in one place. From there, the team can review the full history of any deal, track revisions to rent offers and other pricing negotiations, and give management the visibility to analyze the probability of future success.

Because the platform is mobile, TrueAero’s team can also pull up conversation history with an airline and log meeting notes using voice-to-text, while analytics support real-time decisions and deal approvals. Customizable dashboards round it out, letting TrueAero evaluate KPIs by asset, operator, marketing executive, region, or any other metric that matters to the business.

The result

Boosted productivity, reduced risk.

With that system in place, work actually changed for TrueAero’s leasing and trading teams. Deals that once existed as scattered notes and email threads now live in one system, and decisions that used to rely on gut feeling can be checked against real deal history and win-probability data instead.

Our mission at TrueAero Asset Management is to be a reliable and value-add partner for operators and investors. LeaseWorks has substantially improved visibility into core elements of our strategy related to deal management and customer relationship building.

That shift matters even more for a platform managing $680 million in assets and reaching customers in 75 countries: the same visibility that once took time to piece together is now available the moment a team member needs it, wherever they happen to be.

We are constantly striving to build best in class software products for the aviation industry that are easy to use, extremely responsive and available on any device, so that our customers can spend less time chasing information and more time making critical decisions.
